“For more than six months, I had been on a long and difficult journey battling congestive heart failure. I was hospitalized multiple times due to severe fluid buildup around my heart. My ejection fraction had dropped to 25%, many heart-related blood levels were far from normal, and I had lost 48 pounds. I was weak, frail—what some might call the walking dead. After my last hospital stay, the doctors told me there was nothing more they could do. They sent me home on hospice care—I wasn’t expected to live much longer. It felt like the end.

“First off, the healing room in her home is so peaceful and welcoming! I honestly felt better just walking into the room and lying on her memory foam massage table that had heat AND a full body massage mat! First: “Miracle Growth”…this is the title I would give to my healing journey with Shannon.
It started quiet, gentle, I don’t know if she planned it that way, to allow my spirit to adapt to the depth she was able to bring me, or during the time I grew this trust of her and I could surrender, fearless, knowing that she was there and I could breath, I could let my guard down and I could heal.
The sound bath with the singing bowls made me relax enough that I was finally able to turn my mind off. All of my spinning and intrusive thoughts were silent and my body just let go. All the tension in the shoulders went away, my arms felt heavy and fell to the side of my body releasing all tension leaving just peace and rest.
After this experience, there was another sound healing session with drum sound.
The drum playing was amazing. I was able to enter the sacred space of my soul and meet my tribe. I have been searching to find this tribe for a long time. I felt at one with the nature around me. I found myself walking on a mountain with my spirit guides alongside me. They led me to my tribe, dancing around a fire and welcoming me “home”.
In another session, with her gentle and calm voice, Shannon brought me to the “library of the akashic records”.
It was there I saw the deep trauma I had to face during my many lifetimes. I finally saw what it is I am carrying with me from life to life until this time, here and now. I chose to see, to forgive, to heal and to finally move on with love and compassion for my wounded child.
